Surry Hills 18: Crown Street by night

I thought I would see how the Casio handled the dark and discovered that really to use its night photography mode would require a tripod. Nonetheless, for what it’s worth, a few were not bad. I guess if Surry Hills has a main street, Crown is it.

  1. I remember going on an architectural tour a few years ago where it was explained Crown St was named Crown St because it was the highest street in the hills, and therefore “the high street” or the main street in the English village sense of the word. I’ve lost track of the number of times I’ve been to Thai Tha Poh and the bottle shop (I still call it Camperdown Cellars actually).
