Chinatown 3: Campbell Street to George Street

Thought I’d take you for another walk around Chinatown, starting here:


The old Federation style Chamberlain Hotel on the corner fascinates me. Typically, it has been patched into the pomo development of the past decade.


Note the loud speakers in the foreground. They are in case of terrorist attack, among other things. Welcome to post 2001 Sydney!


Looking up Pitt Street towards the city.


From Campbell Street, looking back towards the corner where the pictures above were taken. If you look closely, you will see Billy Elliot is still running.
